As mentioned last week, the world has been in a spin however, with the US dropping interest rates and Australia looking like they'll raise them, our dollar has picked up a little ground, but still way off .95 where it was late November. Who knows where it will all end up, even the economists don't know! What does this mean for us cruisers, well this week, we are paying more for the cruises that fluctuate on a daily basis against the USD. If you are booking a cruise and it is based against the USD, ask your consultant, it may be worth paying for it in full, at least you know what the final price will be!
Now down to business. If you have nothing to do for the next 15 nights, pack your tooth brush, you're flying out of Sydney Saturday afternoon, that's this Saturday the 26th for San Francisco! Once there, you'll join Aurora for a cruise visiting Honolulu, Pago Pago Nuku 'Alofa and Auckland. Now the price, cruise only is $1199.00, that's $79.00 a day! There is only inside cabins left so please don't ring and ask for a balcony, they are not available. Flights are available on Qantas departing in the afternoon at an additional cost, we can organise the flights, but thought you may want to try frequent flyers! You should read this weeks feedback, especially from our clients that cruised on Pacific Princess from Papeete to Fort Lauderdale. They had a great trip, but it almost ended before it started. We always tell people, you always need at least one night up your sleeve before the cruise, when you read it, you'll see why and what would have happened if we had not booked them into the hotel the night before the cruise!
