Just back from a 2 night cruise from Sydney to Melbourne on Sun Princess. It was for a Princess Partnership Summit, where Princess invite their top 200 agents from around Australia. We had Ann Sherry, CEO of Carnival Corp Australia, and Alan Buckelew, President of Princess with us, and it was great to listen to the future plans for Princess and P&O fleet deployments and enhancements for Australia.
I can tell you both Sun and Dawn Princess are getting big "Movie Screens" like the latest Princess ships so you can watch movies under the stars, how good is that! They are also introducing the Ultimate ship tour where you can visit the bridge, engine room and galley! We'll have more details on that soon including pricing.
Sun Princess was great. The Princess service and staff on board were fantastic, it's such great value when everything is in Australian dollars. All wines on board are now New Zealand or Australian, all food is fresh from Australia as well. We really do have a world class product now and in the future, I'm sure we'll get even bigger and better Princess ships. Watch this space!
